 Privacy Policy 

 The use of the Service, operating under the domain name www.polacyzmieniajaswiat.pl  (hereinafter referred to as the Service), as pursuant to the Terms and Conditions of the Portal www.polacyzmieniajaswiat.pl, may involve collecting personal data of its Users for the purpose and to the extent necessary for Service administration, functionality maintenance or for providing individual Services to the Users.
The Administrator of your Personal Data is the Economic Security of Poland Foundation. Personal data of the Service Users are processed in accordance with the provisions of generally applicable law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter as: GDPR.
The legal basis of the Service Privacy Policy are the provisions of applicable law, in particular the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights (Journal of Laws 1994 No. 24 item 83), the Act of 10 May 2018 on Personal Data Protection (Journal of Laws 2018 item 1000), Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Processing of personal data.
The Service may process the Users' personal data collected primarily by means of the cookie technology.
Personal data collected by the Service will be processed for the period necessary to provide services by electronic means, to which the Service User is a party, until termination or expiration of services, in connection with the realization of the justified interest of the personal data administrator. After this period, personal data of the Service Users may be processed for archival and statistical purposes and until any claims related to the provision of services to the User are established and secured.
Personal data of the Service Users are protected against unauthorized access and sharing, theft, damage, modification, accidental destruction or loss.
The Service User has the right to access the data, correct them, limit the processing, transfer the data, as well as - in cases provided for by law - demand to stop data processing, delete them or object to data processing, as well as the right to file a complaint at the supervisory body monitoring compliance with the law in the field of personal data protection, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. 
If the processing of the User's personal data is based on his or her consent, he or she has the right to withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out on the basis of his or her consent before it was withdrawn.
Personal data of the Users may be transferred to other entities only if the User gives his or her prior and explicit consent.
Personal data may be processed by the Administrator's subcontractors (Processing Entities) in order to provide services provided electronically to the User. The Processing Entities include:
- Google Ireland Limited - as regards the use of Google's e-mail services based on Google servers
- Arteneo IT Marcin Wtykło - in order to ensure efficient functioning of the service under the hosting agreement concluded with the Administrator
- OVH Sp. z o.o. - as regards server space, available as part of the service provided by Arteneo IT Marcin Wtykło
- Persons cooperating with the Administrator, in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Service and the provision of services (e.g. answering emails) may potentially gain access to Users' personal data.
Personal data provided to the Administrator by a Research Participant, agreeing to cooperate within the framework of the Service are as follows: name and surname; contact details (e-mail, telephone, workplace); information concerning education; image recorded in the form of photographs; information concerning scientific achievements; information concerning planned scientific and business projects. Personal data of the Research Participants are processed in order to provide services by the Administrator and to ensure the basic functionality of the Service, i.e. delivering information on Polish scientists working or staying abroad in order to promote Polish science, establishing contacts, permanent relations and joint work on the development of scientific and business projects with the Service Partners. All Service Users will be provided with basic information, i.e. name and surname, image and short description, while detailed information made available by Research Participants will be accessible only to verified Service Partners. Personal data of Research Participants will also be also processed for information and marketing purposes.

Personal data provided to the Administrator by the Partner who agrees to cooperate with the Service or by a person representing the Partner are in particular: name and surname; contact data (e-mail, telephone, workplace address); image of the representative recorded in the form of a photograph or company logo; information concerning the conducted activity and the sought-after topics of scientific and business projects. Personal data of Partners or persons representing Partners are processed in order to provide services provided by the Administrator and to ensure the basic function of the Service, i.e. providing information about the Service Partner and enabling access to full information about Research Participants and establishing contact with Scientific Participants in order to establish permanent relations as well as collaboration on development of scientific and business projects. These data are also processed in order to fulfill the legal obligation, i.e. signing a contract, issuing an account. 
The Users' personal data, indicated in points 7 and 8 will also be processed for information, marketing and promotional purposes. The Users’ personal data will not be subject to automatic profiling and will not be subject to automated processing (decision-making). However, the Users’ personal data will be analyzed in order to assess the eligibility for the project Poles Change the World. The assessment will concern educational background, scientific and business achievements as well as development plans.
On agreeing to cooperate with the Service, Research Participant, Partner, Ambassador, Member of the Honorary Committee, agrees on the Administrator’s use (use, processing, duplication and multiple dissemination) of the image made available in the form of photographs/video, free of charge and not limited in quantity and territory, for information and marketing purposes.

Cookie policy

Our Service uses cookies. These files may contain personal data in the form of the IP address of the User’s device when using the Service and the unique identifier of that device. These files are not stored on the Administrator's servers, and the essence of their operation is to record content when one visits the Service on the device used to access the Service. The cookies used by the Service are of different kind, which depends on the term of their storage (retention):
“session" or "temporary" cookies, associated with the session of browsing the Service, which are stored on the User’s device until they leave the Service;

The legal basis for collecting data from cookies is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, understood as the realization of the legitimate interest of the data administrator in the form of maintaining the functionality of the Service and adapting it to individual user settings, as well as storing the data entered by the user related to the use of the Service and conducting statistical analyses of users and visitors to the Service.

The User may opt out of cookies by changing the settings of the browser used to access the Service, in a manner appropriate for that browser:

The Administrator does not link the operating data and information contained in the cookies with any other data that it may have or may have access to.

The User may gain access to the collected cookie files located on the disk or in the memory of the device used to access the Service, by analyzing the content of cookie files in the browser settings.

California Ave. Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, for the purpose of marketing and remarketing the services presented in the Service and managing advertising on Facebook. Social networking tools and plugins provided by Facebook Inc. are used to subscribe to the Service Administrator profile.

Final provisions
When changes in this Privacy Policy are made, they may concern content updates and posting them in the Service.
No identification or personal data will be transferred to a third country or international organization if the Service User clearly indicates in the browser settings that he/she does not agree to such actions.
Identification and personal data may be collected on behalf of a third party only with the express consent of the User.
